The Quiet Lakes Improvement Association
By State of Wisconsin law, the QLIA is limited to $50 in Annual Membership fees for our lakes. These fees can finance just a portion of the resources needed to support our lakes each year. In order for the QLIA to fund important research and data collection regarding our current lake environment including shoreland, watershed, aquatic invasive species and our fishery, we need significant funding via Wisconsin State DNR grants along with donations from our residents and friends of our lakes.
In March 2023, the QLIA introduced a tiered annual donation program to raise money to support our lake initiatives for EWM control, lake management plan and other lake projects now and in the future. Our goal is to raise a significant amount of money to create a perpetual funding mechanism to fund the operating expenses and an emergency contingency for our lakes.
